covid-19

We know these are unprecedented times which can bring fear and frustration, but our God is faithful and we know He works in the hard times too. We have reopened the church building but continue to offer online services via Facebook and YouTube for those who cannot attend. Please familiarize yourself with our guidelines below before attending an in-person service. For those you who elect to remain home, we look forward to the day we can be together again. In the meantime, we pray that you will stay safe and healthy, and that you will be a light to our community.

‍Sunday Morning In-Person Worship Service

‍Our Sunday Worship Service will take place in-person with the following modifications:
  • Shorter service (1 hour maximum).
  • Keep maximum attendees below 100 people.
  • Wear face coverings at all times (children 2 years and under are the only exception).
  • Enforce six-foot minimum distance between anyone not from the same household.
  • Doors will be propped open at the main building entrance and sanctuary.
  • Greeters/Ushers on-hand (inside and outside) to communicate procedures and direct you to a seat.
  • No one who is showing symptoms of illness may attend.
  • Infants and children will remain in the service (no childcare available). The Cry Room is available, if needed, and will be sanitized before each service. If more than one household uses the cry room at the same time, six-foot minimum distancing must be adhered to at all times.
  • The balcony will be open for overflow seating.
  • No coffee cart service.
  • No shaking hands or hugs (or holy kisses).
  • Restrooms are open, but will be monitored to prevent overcrowding.
  • Drinking fountains not available.
  • Giving (offering) to remain in the boxes by the front entrance to the sanctuary.
  • Dismiss in an orderly way (everyone exits the pew to the left) to ensure there is physical distancing.

Live-Stream Service

Our full worship service will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube for those who elect to stay at home. You can also listen to sermons after-the-fact via our Church App (Apple, Google, Amazon), our Media page, or on Apple or Google podcasts.

‍Children’s Ministry

Kids who attend our Sunday Morning In-Person Worship Service mus stay with their parents at all times. Kids over 2 years old must wear masks while on the premises. We will continue our virtual Kids lessons via Zoom, but will be moving the time to 1:30pm on Sundays in light of our reopening. Contact Pastor Jason with questions.

Youth Group

Our youth group is not meeting physically on Sundays, but will meet together (outside) on Thursdays at 6:00pm, as well as for prayer on Tuesdays. You can find more information in the Events feed on the homepage or in the Church App. Contact Pastor Jason with questions.

Life Groups & Growth Groups

We have left it up to each Life Group/Growth Group leader to decide how they want to handle their gatherings. The Church will provide access to Zoom meetings (virtual meetings) for all groups that desire to meet virtually. In addition, the Choir Room is available for gathering if all safety precautions are adhered to, including cleaning before each use.

Prayer Requests

As always, you can submit your prayer requests through the Church App or by emailing prayer@livingfaithsb.org. Our prayer team is standing by!
